    • winner of Chancellor’s gold medal.

  • Worked as Research Student and Research Associate in the school of Mathematics at the Tata Institute o Fundamental Research, Mumbai. 1964 – 66.

  • Taught at the under graduate level in the University of Cambridge, U.K. 1967 – 69.

  • Worked in the School of Mathematics, T. I. F. R. in the group of professor K.Ramachandra , 1974 – 80.

  • Ph. D. in 1981, in  Analytic Number theory , with Professor K.Ramachandra as Adviser.

  • Pool Officer in the school of Mathematics, TIFR ,  1082 – 85.

  • Taught M Phil class in the Department of Mathematics in the University of Bombay.    1982 – 85.

  • Taught intermittently at the department of Mathematics in the University of Pune 1989 – 2002.
